Sancho has sat in on every meeting we've had this year.He remembers all of them.

Sancho is Weird Noises' notetaker. Like any faithful squire, he sits in on every meeting we take: the video calls, the phone calls, even the ones in person. He keeps the account of who said what, what got decided, and what's next.

How it works

Here's how Sancho works.

In the meeting

Send Sancho the invite, add him to the calendar, or ping him in Slack. He joins your Zoom, Teams, or Meet like another head at the table, ignores the camera, and takes the notes.

Already on a call? Bring Sancho onto the line. He listens in and writes it up after, same as any meeting.

In a room with no call, set a laptop, phone, or tablet on the table. Sancho records it and writes up the room.

After

When it wraps, Sancho hands back the writeup: a summary, the decisions, the next steps, and the full transcript — emailed to the team, and remembered from then on.

March 4 — Act two notes

Summary

We read act two and moved the ending onto the daughter, not the reveal.

Decisions

Cut the flashback. The ghost stays a voice, never seen. Working title is now The Undertow.

Next steps

Marc rewrites the closing scene by Friday. Husani sends the new draft to the lead. Dana sets the read-through.

Pass it along

Someone outside the team was in the meeting and wants the notes? Tell Sancho. He checks the details with you first, then emails them the writeup itself — opening with whatever you wanted passed along.

Email Jess the act two notes — and tell her we can't wait to hear her read it.

Meeting notes

Act two notes

March 4 · Husani, Marc, Dana

We read act two and moved the ending onto the daughter, not the reveal…

Later

Weeks later, when you've forgotten the details, just ask Sancho by text, email, or Slack. He answers from memory and points you to the source. His memory runs wider than the meetings he sat in on: the Google Meets you host get folded in automatically, and you can hand him a transcript from a meeting he wasn't at, and he'll know it too. And when an answer calls for the wider world, he searches the web and folds it in.

What did we land on for the act two ending?
Sancho
You moved it onto the daughter and cut the flashback. Marc's rewriting the closing scene by Friday, then the new pages go to the lead.

Wherever you are

You reach Sancho the way you'd reach anyone on the team: a text, a Slack DM, an email. Hand him a meeting, or just ask what he's on.

Built by Weird Noises.

We write stories, not software. But we wanted a notetaker worth a damn, so we built one. Want it for your team? Just ask.
